A Cave

Ikea sat in at the back of a cave, secluded from the beach by a moutain of rocks that no one bothers to climb. A small fire flickers across from her as she leans forward, a piece of wood and a Swiss Army Knife in her hands. She slides the knife down the wood and a piece of it falls to the small pile in front of her.

Ikea ran the knife down the wood again and then snapped the knife into place and held it between her teeth as she inspected the wood. It was just a simple stake, like the ones people believed killed vampires. She laughed past the knife and threw the stake into the fire. She pulled the knife out from between her teeth and popped the blade back out. She leaned back an examined how it caught the light from the fire.

Ikea looked up towards the entrence of the cave as she heard someone walking in. She smiled and slid the blade back into her knife. She slowly got up and quickly stamped out the fire, before the person had a chance to see her. She slowly krept along the opposite wall, towards whoever was in the cave.

Ikea almost laughed, this was too easy. She stealthly walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Boo." Before he could turn and see her she slid into the darkness again.

Ikea had to bite her lip from laughing. She walked right up in front of him. "Can't you see me?" Then she disappeared back into the darkness, enjoying her little game.

"Nice," Ikea laughed. He had placed his hand half a meter from her. She crossed her arms and stared at him, the dim light making her red eye stand out more then her blue one.

Ikea shrugged. "Best place, next to the Graveyard. But I was too impatient to wait until night. Graveyards are too busy and...peaceful? during the day. A dark cave is the next best place, but I'll probably go to the Graveyard tonight."

Ikea raised an eyebrow? "Graveyards? They're dealthy peaceful during the day, pun intended. There are too many birds chirping and squirrles running around. But at night-" She sighed wistfully. "-they're dead silent without a soul around."

Ikea shrugged again. "To each their own," was all she said.

Ikea looked towards the entrence of the cave. "Preferably not," she said slowly. "I'm not a big fan of the light." She walked back over to her fire and squatted in front of it. Reaching inside her pocket she produced a lighter and flicked in on next to a stable piece of wood. It instantly caught and then soon the fire was glowing again. Ikea put the lighter away and looked up at him. "That good?"

Ikea stared into the flames, not saying anything. "Why are you here?" she asked.

Ikea chuckled quietly and then became serious. She looked over at him. "But how did you know that I wouldn't attack you? How did you know that I wasn't some mass murderer looing for their next victim?" A smile threatened to surface but she didn't let that happen.

Ikea couldn't help it, her smile slipped, and it was one of pure madness. "But what if I liked to play? And what if I was waiting for you to come all the way in so I could gag you so that no one could hear your screams?" She jumped up, staring him down. "What if I wasn't alone and had others that were going to kill you, and I was just luring you down here!?" At this point her voice was louder then before, but not loud enough that people outside could hear.
